Linda K. Allen

Linda K. Allen, 73, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Hickory Creek in Greensburg. She was born on June 13, 1947 in Batesville, the daughter of Freeman “Ray” and Margaret (Fischer) Allen. She graduated from Batesville High School and was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg. Linda retired from Hill Rom in Batesville after working there for 41 years.  She loved to collect witch figurines, posters, and other witch collectibles. Survivors include her sister, Vickie DeSpain, Hartsville; Aunt, Margie Fischer, Batesville; niece, Kimberly Willey and nephew, Rodney Allen; five great nieces and nephews; two great great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Raymond Allen. Memorial visitation for family and friends, observing CDC and state guidelines for social distancing and facial coverings will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  Graveside Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating.
