Linda Marcella Meadows

Marcella Meadows, age 90, of Greensburg went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2025. She will be greatly missed by her family, all who knew her, and by those who read the devotionals she posted on the internet for several years. She’s survived by her children: Sherry Purvis, Dianna (Bud) Huff, Linda (Doug) Spitler, Rick Meadows, Jeff (Brenda) Meadows, all of Greensburg; and daughter-in-law, Susan Meadows of Greensburg. She’s survived by eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Loretta (Floyd) Mefford of Hilliard, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Meadows; son, Chuck Meadows; son-in-law, Bob Purvis; grandson, Robby Purvis; baby granddaughter, Crystal Meadows; her parents, Midge and Sam Bennett; sisters: Frankie Parsley, Kitty Bennett, Rosalie Mead; brothers: Scott Bennett, Micky Bennett, and baby “Bunny Bennett”.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on April 7, 2025, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A funeral service will start following the visitation at 1:00pm with Pastor Jay Vanderbur officiating. Burial will take place at South Park Cemetery in Greensburg.
