Margaret Elaine Hart

Margaret Elaine Hart of Greensburg, IN passed away at Decatur County Memorial Hospital on Monday evening, September 28, 2020.  She is survived by five children:   Kendall (Mary Ann) Hart of New Point, IN; Phillip Hart of Greensburg, IN; Melanie (Donald) Mobley of Batesville, IN; Brett Hart of Greensburg, IN and Erin (Kenneth) Morrow of Osgood, IN.  She also leaves 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.  She was married to Donald L. Hart in 1956 and he preceded her in death on December 10, 2012.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer (Douglas) Burns; son, Stewart N. Hart; brother Wendell Roseberry and her parents Hugh “Bill” and Phyllis (Coleman) Roseberry. She was born on June 29, 1938 in North Vernon, IN and graduated from Greensburg High School in 1956. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana.  She worked for several years in admissions at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital, retiring in 2004. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Greensburg, IN., and a member of the Home Economics Group in Greensburg.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Everyone is invited to an open visitation, observing CDC precautions, with family at the First Christian Church in Greensburg, IN on Saturday, October 3 ^rd from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:30 a.m., officiated by Rev. Danny Wolford.  A private family burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to the Kid’s Closet, c/o First Christian Church, in her name.
