Mark Edward Wittkamper

Mark “Porky” E. Wittkamper, 55, Westport, passed away on March 26, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.  Born, May 27 th , 1964 in Batesville, he was the son of Dale “Pork” and Sandra (Laws) Wittkamper. Mark graduated from Greensburg High School in 1982.  He worked for Delta Faucet in Greensburg for over 20 years and was currently a Machine Tech at Ohio Rod in Versailles.  Mark was an extremely social person and had a very patient, kind, and giving personality.  Mark visited and talked with neighbors, family, and friends frequently.  He enjoyed collecting guns, hunting, fishing, gardening, golf, and NASCAR.  He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church but attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Milhousen with his family. Mark married Catherine (Brancamp) Kohlman on September 23, 2000 and she preceded him in death on March 8, 2019. He is survived by his parents; Pork and Sandy Wittkamper, Greensburg, five children; Sophie Wittkamper, Westport, Brian Wittkamper, Westport, Stephanie(Dwayne Reynolds) Kohlman, Westport, Nicholas (Jessica) Kohlman, Westport, Samantha Kohlman, Georgia, two sisters; Mona (Pat) Hahn, Greensburg, Lynn (Mike McCoy) Nordmeyer, Greensburg. Mark was preceded in death by his wife; Cathy Wittkamper, and nephew; Matthew “MJ” Louis Hahn, Jr. Due to the recent public health safety mandate of limited gatherings, a private graveside service will be held for the immediate family.  A Memorial for Mark will occur at a later date. The family will be setting up a college fund for Mark’s children and memorial contributions can be made to the fund through Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.
