Mary E. Kitchin

Mary E. Kitchin, 73, of Greensburg passed away on January 28, 2018.  Mary was born in Decatur County on September 19, 1944 to Kelly T. and Bertha M. (Luther) Jones.  Mary graduated from Greensburg High School.  Mary worked for several businesses in Greensburg, including Johnson Wholesale, IGA, Bigfoot, American Rental, and Valeo.  After retiring from Valeo, Mary enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and she also loved to read books.  Mary is survived by five daughters, Shari (William) Rabideau, Greensburg, Paige Kennedy, Columbus, Kendra Trenkamp, Greensburg, Brandi (Jack) Ray, Columbus, and Bethany (Jay) Hubbard, Seymour, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Robert, Ralph, Clarence, Kenneth, and Donald Jones, one sister, Sandra Walterman, and former spouse, Larry E. Kitchin.  Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, January 31 from 3-7 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will begin at 7 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. George Mitchell officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Greensburg Public Library or to Greensburg Bread of Life.
