Mary Lou Marciniak

Mary Lou Marciniak, 75, of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, surrounded by her family. She was a longtime resident of Michigan City. She was born Aug. 23, 1945 in Michigan City to Julius and Rose Kniola. She married Philip Marciniak Jan. 14, 1966, in Michigan City. She worked for many years at the former M&M Restaurant in Michigan City. She also worked at St. Mary Catholic School in Greensburg. She is survived by her husband, Phil, of Greensburg; daughter Kemberly Markham of Tinley Park, Ill.; brother Kenny Kniola of Michigan City; and three grandchildren, Ian, Kiera and Cormac Markham. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly, and brothers, Gerald and Thomas. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
