Mary A. Mcclure

April 12, 1931 — September 18, 2019

Mary A. McClure, 88 of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg.  She was born on April 12, 1931 in Shelby County, the daughter of Orville and Alta Ruth (Gurley) Jones.  Mary attended St. Paul High School.  She was a homemaker and worked as a cook at North Decatur High School for over 20 years.  Mary was a member of the 1 st Baptist Church in Greensburg.  She was married to Notrie O. McClure, Jr. in Waldron on December 10, 1950 and he preceded her in death on February 6, 2015.  Mary is survived by one son; Darrell (Jill) McClure, Greensburg, five daughters; Notrianna (Don) Storie, Greensburg, Julia Johnson, Greensburg, Denise (Ronald) Collins, Greensburg, Cindy (Rick) Bevington, Greensburg, Eva (Ralph) Bellorado, Valparaiso, IN, one brother; Orville Jones, Jr., Indianapolis, one sister; Patricia Kelly, Indianapolis, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Notrie, and sister; Ella Carew.  Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Friday at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.  Visitation will also be from 9-10 am on Saturday at the 1 st Baptist Church in Greensburg followed by Funeral services at 10:00 am with Rev. Cliff Bunch officiating.  Interment will follow at Rossburg Cemetery.  Memorials can be made to Hospice or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
