Michael Todd Howard

Michael Todd Howard also known as “Piggy”, 52, passed away suddenly on September 27, 2020.

Born, January 10, 1968 in Greensburg, he was the son of Ronald “Ronnie” and Patricia Jane (Prewitt) Howard.

Mike graduated from Greensburg High School in 1986.  He was a member of the tennis team and won the EIAC Conference and Sectional Titles in doubles in 1985.  Mike joined the Army after graduating and served from 1986 until 1993.  Mike worked for STI and later worked for over 25 years at GECOM as a certified Tool and Die Maker.  On a typical day you would find him on the golf course surrounded by his friends or fishing at one of his favorites spots. He loved golf and was a member of Greensburg Country Club for several years.

Mike was married to Kathy (Dance) Howard for 25 years.

He is survived by his parents; Ronald and Patricia Howard, his former spouse; Kathy Howard, three sons; Jeffery John Laczko, Brandon Michael Meadows, Trevor Michael Howard, one daughter; Jennifer Marie (Christopher) Moore, two brothers; Jason Todd Howard, Shannon Craig Gene Howard, and one granddaughter; Madison Kate Moore.

He was preceded in death by two uncles; Tommy and Donnie Howard, two aunts; Betty Shafer, and Mayme Welch, and his granddaughter; Lynlee Scout Laczko.

Visitation will be at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 10:30am – 12:30 pm following CDC guidelines for social distancing.

Funeral Services will start at 12:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Forrest Hamilton officiating.

Burial and military graveside rites will follow at South Park Cemetery.
