Michael Joseph Michalski

Michael Joseph Michalski, 68, of Westport, passed away on March 3, 2024, in Columbus, Indiana.

Born June 1, 1955, in Bitburg, Germany, he was the son of Joseph and Lorrain (Spinello) Michalski. Michael worked at Dri-Quick and Delta Faucet for many years and then worked at Columbus Regional Hospital in maintenance for 8 years until his retirement. He spent joyful hours metal detecting and uncovering hidden treasures. He had a passion for classic cars. He was a skilled backyard mechanic, often handling several projects at once. Michael also had a keen interest in sports memorabilia.

Michael married Jamie (Owens) Michalski on January 8, 1992, and she survives.

He is also survived by his sons, John (Kaitlin) Beltran and Anthony (Paige) Beltran; grandchildren: Zoe Beltran, Isabella Beltran, Kyle Beltran, and Natalie Beltran; sister, Joanna Buckley; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
