Naoma Arlena Cooper

Naoma Arlena (Wright) Cooper, 85, of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Born in Strawtown, Indiana on March 22, 1938, she was the youngest daughter of John and Myra (Murray) Wright. She married Oral Lee Cooper on October 24, 1954 and he preceded her in death on February 21, 2021.

Naoma was a homemaker, avid reader, and loved to do word search and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed country and gospel music. She also loved to attend her family reunions.

She is survived by her children: Jerry (Patricia) Cooper, Debra (Michael) Hapner, Rebecca (Todd) Miller, and Paula (Thomas) Davis. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, her parents, sisters, Judy Gephart and Dessie Carmichael and brothers, John Wright and Herman Wright.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, July 3, 2023, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm.
