Patsy A Baumgartner

Patsy A. Baumgartner, 85, passed away on May 4, 2018 at Ashford Place in Shelbyville, In.  She was a lifelong resident of Decatur County born to Louis and Edith Cook on July 18, 1932.  She married her high school sweetheart, Dale Baumgartner and he preceded her in death in 2002.  Patsy retired from Delta Faucet spending her retirement time with family and her hobbies of antiquing and gardening.  Patsy was a member of the Eastern Star for 43 years.  She is survived by daughters, Debbie (Jerry) Wiley, Vicky (Dave) Petts, son, Steve (Eva) Baumgartner, five granddaughters, three great grandchildren, along with one sister, Joyretta (Gilbert) Harmon, and one brother.  The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff as Ashford Place and Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.  Their care and thoughtfulness gave comfort in the final days of Patsy’s life.  Visitation will be on Monday, May 7 from 12 noon until 1 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home followed by a private funeral service at 1 pm.  Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery in Greensburg.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.  Online condolences can be made at www.popfuneralhome.com
