Randy E. Austin

Randy E. Austin, 57, Greensburg, passed on Monday, August 14, 2017 at his residence in Greensburg. Born, May 10, 1960 in Greensburg, he was the son of Bill J. and Betty J. (Land) Austin.  Randy worked for several years at Delta Faucet in Greensburg.  He then worked in maintenance at Indian Lakes in Batesville.  He was a volunteer at the Metamora Fire Department and he loved to skydive. He is survived by his mother, Betty Austin, Greensburg; his partner of several years, Deborah Castle-Brock; three sons, Shawn (Elizabeth Moles) Austin, Greensburg, Billy Austin, Greensburg, Randy (Nickiea) Austin, Jr., Metamora; two daughters, Rashell (Jeff) Maxie, Laurel, Kaylie Wood, Cincinnati; one brother, Howard (Rae Jean) Austin, Versailles; two sisters, Vietta (Kevin) McKenzie, Greensburg, LeeAnn (Mark) Diekhoff, Greensburg; 12 grandchildren, Daimon, Makenzie, Ava, Jaxxton, Brayden, Claire, Briar, Willow, Tanner, Emmerson, Jagger, Asher. He was preceded in death by his father. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 20th at 4:00 pm at Metamora Church of God with Pastor Wayne Ison officiating.  Dinner will follow directly after the service in the Gymnasium hosted by Metamora Fire Department.  Memorials may be made to the family through the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
