Reba F. Workman

February 8, 1939 — April 19, 2025

Reba F. (Shoaf) Workman, 86, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, at Aspen Place, in Greensburg, IN.  Born on February 8, 1939, in Greensburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Ronald & Lillie (Creech) Shoaf.

She married Eugene D. Workman on January 31,1959 and he preceded her in death on August 5, 2009. She is survived by daughters, Karen (Mark) Roszelle and Kathryn (Todd) Kelso. Grandchildren; Hilary (Steven) Hart, Heather (Brad) Karazsia, Mitchell (Wendy) Roszelle, Jacob Kelso and Kayla Kelso and her great grandchildren; Ava, Dane, Duke, Layne, and Elizabeth.

Reba was a 1957 graduate of Burney High School and graduated from Huffer Beauty College in 1958.  She owned and operated her own shop until choosing to become a full-time mother.  She was talented at sewing, painting ceramics, and playing the piano and organ.

Reba’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care given to her by the caregivers and friends at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana and at Aspen Place.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home. Funeral Services and Burial will be held privately with Pastor Steve Frensemeier officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or an organization of donor’s choice.
