Richard "Rick" L. Powers

Richard “Rick” L. Powers, 62, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Greensburg. He was born on December 17, 1959, in Greensburg, Indiana the son of Richard and Alma Powers.

Rick worked at BCA as a Maintenance Oiler. He enjoyed watching sporting events and watching Mother Angelica on EWTN.

Rick is survived by his daughter, Krystal Timmerman; 5 grandchildren; siblings: Pat (Bob) Dehner, Barb Christianson, Ginny (Chuck) Rose, Marilyn (Dan) Helms, Kathy (Wade) Farr, Chris Helms, Judy Anderson, Bill (Paula) Powers, Mike (Tori) Powers, Lisa (Paul) Sweezey, Sandy Russell; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melissa Hawkins; son, Richard L. Powers, Jr; and sister, Carol Faris.

Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the St. Mary's Church in Greensburg to pray the rosary. Visitation will follow until the funeral mass to be held at 11:30 a.m., with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Mary's Cemetery.  Memorials can be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
