Robert B. Hurt

Robert B. Hurt, 87, passed away on August 27, 2020 at Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg.  Born, March 6, 1933 in Greensburg he was the son of Oscar and Mable (Butler) Hurt.  Robert graduated from Greensburg High School in 1951.  He worked as a Factory Lathe Operator for Bohn Aluminum and KS Bearings for 43 years.  He was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church.  His greatest passion was model trains.  He was a member of several model train clubs and he even set up his train tracks around the nursing homes over the last few years.  Robert is survived by his sister-in-law; Paulene L. Hurt, Greensburg, and several step nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald R. Hurt.  Graveside services will be held at South Park Cemetery on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 10 am with Rev. Chris Stephens officiating.
