Ruth M. Moore

Ruth M. Moore, 83, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Morning Breeze Nursing Home in Greensburg.  Born, April 25, 1936 in Jackson, Indiana, she was the daughter of George and Lena (Pomery) Pflum.  Ruth was married to Donald Moore and together they had six children.  She is survived by one son; Gary (Katie) Moore, Greensburg, five daughters; Mariann (Melvin) Scudder, St. Paul, Carolyn (David) Mitchell, Greensburg, Angie (Curtiss) Spurlock, Osgood, Brenda (Tim) Varga, Greensburg, Mindy (Jim) Schantz, Batesville, one sister, Marcella Hildebrand, Brookville, 15 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Clarence Pflum.  Visitation will be at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home on Friday, January 31 from 11 am until 1 pm.  Funeral services will start at 1 pm on Friday at the funeral home with Rev. William Cordes officiating.  Burial will follow at Union Flat Rock Cemetery in Ripley County.  Memorial contributions can be made to NAMI, National Alliance for Mental Illness.
