Sara M. Nash

Sara M. Nash, 58, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Morning Breeze Nursing Home in Greensburg, Indiana.  Born, August 16, 1961, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Linda Lou (White) and Ralph Jones and Carl Hammond.

Sara spent most of her life enjoying the sunshine of St. Petersburg, Florida.  Her favorite activities were spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, decorating, gardening, and shopping.  Sara was always busy with projects and created so many beautiful keepsakes.  Sara loved doing things for others and always brought excitement and cheer to any occasion.

Sara is survived by her husband, Christopher Nash, St. Petersburg, FL, her son; Terry (Miranda) Hogg, II, Cincinnati, OH, five grandchildren; Madeline, Sydney, Cameron, Penelope, and Drew Hogg, all of Cincinnati, OH, her uncle; Ron Washburn, Greensburg, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.  Sara was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Norvell Ed Jones.

Due to the recent public health safety mandate of limited gatherings, no services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.  Memorial contributions can be made though Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home to Sara’s Sewing Scholarship, which is being set up to encourage children to learn to sew.
