Scott A. Wallpe

Scott A. Wallpe, 52, New Point, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at his residence. Born, October 17, 1965 in Batesville, Indiana, he was the son of James W. and Rosemary (Burkhart) Wallpe. He was married to Paula J. (Markland) Wallpe on August 29, 2005 and she survives. Scott graduated from Batesville High School. He owned and operated Wallpe's Keg in Greensburg since June of 2003. He is survived by his father, James Wallpe, Batesville, In.; wife, Paula Wallpe, New Point; one daughter, Kristie Collins, Greensburg; two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Cory Collins; three sisters, Connie (Al) Wuestefeld, Batesville, Carolyn "Susie" (Don) Schwegman, Greensburg, Rita (Gary "Butch") Meyer, Oldenburg. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Wallpe and one brother, Jerome "Jerry" Wallpe. Visitation will be from 9-12:00 Saturday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A Rosary service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at St. Maurice Catholic Church in St. Maurice, Indiana with the Rev. Bob Weekley officiating.  Interment will be held in the Rossburg Cemetery in New Point. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Alzheimer's Association.
