Steven H. Frost Sr.

Steven H. Frost Sr. was born in Whittier, California to the Late Richard Carl Frost and The Late Ruth Ann Goldt. When he turned 19 he was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War in 1968 where he served 2 years. When he was discharged he married Joyce A Gomez in 1970. They had 2 children Steven Frost Jr. and Athena Frost. He worked on oil rigs based in Alaska for several years. He then pursued his career as a Sous Chef for Weinantz that was located in Columbus, Indiana. He then went to Abe Martin Lodge in Brown County where he retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and crosswords while listening to the Bob and Tom Show on Q95 every morning. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is Survived by his daughter, Athena & David King; his 5 grandchildren: Tequila and Draven Yeager of Greensburg, Logan Yeager of Batesville, Andrea and Martina Frost of Olin, Iowa; two sisters: Nona & Art Bolen of Nevada, Cindy & Tim Pippin of Laurel; two nieces: Melissa Combs of Greensburg, Tisha Bolen of California; four nephews: Chris Michaels of North Vernon, Mike Michaels of Greensburg, Dillon Pippin of Villa Park, Illinois, and Art Bolen of California.
He is preceded in death by his mom and dad; wife, Joyce; son, Steven Frost Jr; and nephew, Casey Bolen.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 4pm-6pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral home.
