Theresa A Caffee

Theresa A. Caffee, 59, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Born, April 1, 1959 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of William E. and Wilma I. (Brancamp) Buening. Theresa graduated from Greensburg High School in 1977. After high school, Theresa worked for Decatur County Memorial Hospital for over 30 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Theresa loved crocheting and knitting, and spent most of her free time with her grandchildren. Theresa was married to Billy Gene Caffee, Jr. on July 5, 1985 and he preceded her in death on January 27, 2005. She is survived by 2 daughters; Alina (Justin) Wells, Greensburg, Savannah (Brad) Sefton, Greensburg, 2 step-daughters; Billie Ruiz, Columbus, Starr Rodriguez, Columbus, 2 brothers; Michael (Lisa) Buening, Ninevah, IN, Kenny (Nancy) Buening, Greensburg, 2 sisters; Janet (Bob) Henry, Batesville, Katrina (Rickey) Applegate, North Vernon, 6 grandchildren; Wyatt and Ella Wells, Remi, Everly, Berlin, and McKechnie Sefton, and 13 step-grandchildren. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; William and Wilma Buening, and her husband; Billy Gene Caffee, Jr. A rosary service will start at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home followed by visitation from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will also be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 9-10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorials contributions may be made to the Shriners for Riley Children’s Hospital.
