Thomas Gene Ogden

Thomas Gene Ogden, 74, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the Decatur County Hospital in Greensburg.

Born, December 24, 1948 in Batesville, Indiana, he was the son of Edward Lee and Mary Jane (Sewards) Ogden.

Tom graduated in 1967 from Greensburg High School. He worked at the Greensburg Daily News, then he worked at Dry Clime Lamp, and his last job was with GTS.

Tom was a member of the Greensburg Country Club and was on the Decatur County Parks and Recreation Department Board for over 40 years.  He enjoyed golfing, watching all kinds of sports, grilling out in his backyard, and spending time with Harper.

He was married to Marty Ogden on May 19, 1973 and she survives.

He is also survived one son, Scott (Natasha) Ogden; granddaughter, Harper Ogden; nephew, Thomas (Danielle) Ogden; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff & Barb Clemons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Phillip Ogden.

Private Services will be held for the family at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg in accordance to Tom’s wishes.
