Timothy "Tim" Combs

Timothy “Tim” Allen Combs, 54, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. Tim was born on January 4, 1970, in Columbus, Indiana to Allen and Judith Combs.

After graduating from Jennings County High School Tim went on to further his education at Aviation Training Academy, where he earned an associate degree in aircraft mechanics. Tim then started his career with UPS where he worked as an aircraft mechanic for the next 15+ years.

In his spare time Tim enjoyed doing many things. Tim was a sports enthusiast. He played baseball as a young boy. In high school he became an avid tennis player, making it to the varsity level. He participated in softball work leagues and enjoyed bowling. Tim had a love for collecting planes, he enjoyed fishing, going to the horse track, and taking walks. Above all though, Tim loved his family and cherished the time he got to spend with each of them.

Tim is survived by his father, Allen (Mary Jo) Combs; children: Peyton Combs, Tyler Combs, Courtney Combs; brother, Dan (Lisa) Combs; and niece, Phoebe Combs.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Combs.

Friends and family are invited to pray the rosary at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 10:00 am. A visitation will follow from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, also at the church. A Funeral Mass will be held after the conclusion of the visitation at 12:30 pm with Father Binu Mathew officiating. Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
