Virgil Sweezey, 74, passed away on September 28, 2018 at Arbor Grove Village Nursing Home in Greensubrg. He was born on May 7, 1944 in New Hampton, Ohio to Charles Edward Sweezey and Henrietta (Mauer) Obermeyer. Virgil married Joyce U. Sturgill in 1983 and she preceded him in death on November 11, 1994. Graveside services will take place on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at Sand Creek Cemetery in Greensburg. Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
