Wilma G. Redelman

December 24, 1924 — February 16, 2022

Wilma G. Redelman, 97, passed away on February 16, 2022 at the Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg. She was born in Decatur County. She was the daughter of Frank and Nettie (Johnson) Menefee on December 24, 1924.

She graduated from Burney High School in 1942. She worked at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital prior to being a homemaker. After her daughters were grown, she went to work at Delta Faucet in Greensburg until she retired.  She enjoyed working in her yard, working crossword and jigsaw puzzles and especially spending time with her family.

Wilma will be greatly missed by her daughters: Judy (Kenny) Mauer and Sharon (Ron) Krieger.

She is also survived by her sister, Betty McCarthy; grandchildren: Christopher Mauer and Mark Krieger; great-grandchildren: Rhett Mauer, Seth Krieger, and Addyson Krieger; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Harry, Claude, Chester, Roy, Charlie, and Paul Menefee; sister, Amy Tatman.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg. Burial with graveside services will be held at Hebron Cemetery in Adams, IN on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at  11:00 am with Father John Meyer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
