Mayme L. Welch

Mayme L. Welch, 79, Greensburg, passed away Thursday July 14, 2011 at the Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg. Born May 21, 1932 in Arlington, Indiana, she was the daughter of Loyd Lee Howard and Sally (Craig) Howard. She was a homemaker and an avid bingo player. She liked to attend her Grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities. She was married to Roy L. “Tony” Welch on December 15, 1950 and he passed away on October 22, 2002. Survivors include three sons; Paul (Peggy) Welch, Bradenton, Florida, Lynn (Marjean) Welch, Greensburg, Tony L. Welch and his companion Carl Berghovdian of Rancho Mirage, California; Two brothers, Donald (Jane) Howard and Ronnie (Patty) Howard both of Greensburg; one sister, Betty Jo Shafer, Greensburg; Five grandchildren, Sandy Fitzgerald, Mia Swift, Lee Ann Gauck, Ryan Welch, Kevin Welch and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Thomas B. Howard. Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 19, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, Greensburg. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 20, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Robb Barlow officiating. Internment in South Park Cemetery.
