Patrick W. Stringer

Patrick W. Stringer, 56, Scipio, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011 at the St. Vincent's Hospital in North Vernon. Born, October 19, 1954 in Greensburg, he was the son of John and Carolyn (Rigby) Stringer. He was a former employee of the Delta Faucet Co. where he worked for 32 years. He was an avid hunter and golfer. He was married to Debbie Gilham on May 23, 2009 and she survives. He is also survived by his mother, Carolyn Stringer, Greensburg; five daughters, Shannan (David) Fields, Columbus, Brandi Soliday and her fiancé' Brian AmRhein, Greensburg, Jennifer (Andy) Phelps, Westport, Jessi Stringer, Greensburg, Chass Stringer, Greensburg; two step-daughters, Mandy Vogel, North Vernon, Sarah Vogel, North Vernon; one brother, Mike (Sandy) Stringer, Napoleon; three nieces, Donah Stringer, Napoleon, Jessica Garrett, Butler, Ky., Stacey Baltus, Napoleon; twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be from 3-7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. John Mattern officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
