Mary C. Rigby, 62, of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Bedford, Indiana on February 11, 1951. Mary graduated from Greensburg High School in 1969, she then went on to Indiana University and Ivy Tech and became an LPN. She was an LPN for over 20 years and most recently worked at the Odd Fellows Nursing Home in Greensburg. She attended the Community Church in Greensburg, she was a former president and member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and she was a former member of the Eagles Lodge in Greensburg. She was married to Franklin L. “Larry” Rigby, Jr. on November 6, 1971 and he survives. Mary is survived by her husband, one daughter; Rachel Nicole Rigby, Greensburg, one step daughter; Tabatha (Terry) Yonts, Greensburg, three grandchildren; Kaitlynn, Kameron, and Krystian Rigby, all of Greensburg, three step grandchildren; Tyler, Tristina, and Tanner; Yonts, all of Greensburg, one brother; Jay D. Webb, Greensburg, two sisters; Donna S. Colson, Greensburg, Anna Jo Peters, Greensburg, several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; Carl and Jeanette (Black) Bridges, one brother; Lee Roy Webb, and two sisters; Brenda K. York and Carol Jean York. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Interment will be held in South Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
