Mike Mckee

Robert Michael "Mike" McKee, 61, Greensburg, was reunited with his true love, Nancy on Thursday, November 27, 2014. Born, July 15, 1953 in Columbus, Indiana, he was the son of Ralph A. and Roberta J. (Franklin) McKee. Mike graduated from Greensburg High School in 1971. He retired from Verizon after several years of service. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and a charter member of the Sons of the American Legion. Mike enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family and friends. He was married to Nancy Marie Luken on May 6, 1978 and she preceded him in death on October 16, 1995. He is survived by one son, Brian (Bridget) McKee, Michigan City; one daughter, Andrea McKee, Greensburg; one brother, Pat (Susan) McKee, Greensburg; one sister, Stacy (Greg) Kulpinski, Greensburg; four grandchildren, Aeden, Maeve, Declan, Fiona; Four brother-in-laws, Mike (Kandee) Luken, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jim (Patty) Luken, Greensburg, Bill (Carol) Luken, Indianapolis, Tom (Jan) Luken, Greensburg; one sister-in-law, Linda (Dave) Reiger, Greensburg; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A public rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Visitation will also be from 9-10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Building Fund.
